STILTSHOW by Dragon Knights offers hands-on workshops combining physical training, stilt technique, and theatre practice.
All workshops are led by experienced performers and integrate theatre training as a fundamental part of each program.

Whether discovering stilts for the first time or developing advanced skills, participants are guided through both technical work and performance awareness.

Peg Stilts Workshop 

This workshop is the required foundation for all other stilt workshops.

Participants work on:

  • balance, posture, and body alignment

  • walking, turning, and transitions

  • physical presence and spatial awareness

  • basic theatre skills and stage awareness

  • safety and confidence on stilts

This workshop establishes the technical and theatrical base necessary to continue into advanced stilt disciplines.

STILT PUPPETRY WORKSHOP

Stilt Puppetry Workshop 

This workshop is open to participants who have completed the Peg Stilts Workshop or who already have confirmed stilt experience.

The training focuses on stilt puppetry, combining structure, movement, and interpretation.

Participants receive training in:

  • operating articulated stilt puppets

  • coordination between body, stilts, and puppet

  • character development and theatrical presence

  • make-up, mask, and costuming

  • bringing to life the articulated characters crafted by Lili Noden

Jumping Stilts Workshop 

This workshop introduces jumping stilts, combining acrobatic technique with theatrical movement and control.

Participants will work on:

  • jumping and landing techniques

  • rhythm, coordination, and flow

  • safe progression toward aerial movement and flips

  • integrating acrobatics into performance

A foundation in movement and theatre practice is required to ensure safety and artistic coherence.
